Cruise Protection Plan

Travel Agent Commission Protection Included
Cruise Vacation Plan Plus includes travel agent commission protection at no additional fee. Commission Protection is up to $100 per person for cancellations due to non-covered reasons, and 100% of commission for cancellations for covered reasons. Cruise Vacation Protection Plan Plus must be included for all travelers on the booking and be paid in full with initial deposit/payment for your trip. The booking must be paid in full and must be cancelled in full at time of cancellation to receive commission protection. Claims for commission must be made online within 10 business days of cancellation. Travel Advisor Commission Protection is provided by Member First and is not an insurance benefit.
Part A: Cancel For Any Reason Waiver (provided by Member First)*:
The travel protection plan includes a non-insurance Cancel For Any Reason Waiver if you need to change or cancel your trip prior to departure. This plan must be purchased at time of booking, and cannot be purchased with a Future Travel Credit (FTC). Please see Part A of the plan document (https://www.tripmate.com/wpUF414) for full details.
What We will do under this Waiver: If you must cancel Your Trip prior to departure due to a specified covered reason, you receive reimbursement in cash of ALL cancellation fees (to a maximum of $20,000 per person and $60,000 per booking) for your Member First travel arrangements. For any reason not otherwise covered under the Cancel For Any Reason Waiver, you receive reimbursement in Member First Travel Credits of ALL cancellation fees (to a maximum of $20,000 per person and $60,000 per booking) associated with your Member First travel arrangements if you cancel your trip prior to departure.
We will also refund any additional fees that You would otherwise incur for changes to Your per person occupancy rate if a person booked with You on Your Trip cancels his/her reservation with Us before the scheduled Trip departure and You do not cancel Your Trip.
On a one-time basis, You have the option to have any supplier change fees refunded, if You make changes to Your Trip. However, the Waiver is voided after the one-time charge coverage is utilized.
Please Note: This Waiver does not cover fees or costs associated with any cruise line promotional airfare offers, any transportation, accommodations, or other travel services that are not arranged by Member First. Any amount payable under this Waiver will be reduced by the amount of any Trip Cancellation amounts paid or payable under any other travel insurance or travel protection plan providing Trip Cancellation benefits.
How You are reimbursed under this Waiver:
If You cancel Your Trip before your scheduled Trip departure for any of the Specified Reasons, listed under Part A of the plan documents, which first occur after Your purchase of this Plan and before Your scheduled Trip departure, We will reimburse You in cash.
If you cancel Your Trip before the scheduled Trip departure for any other reason, We will reimburse You with a Member First Future Travel Credit that can be used for future transportation, accommodations, and other travel services arranged by Us. The limitations on that Member First Future Travel Credit are explained below.

This Part A: Cancel For Any Reason Waiver does not cover no-shows or occupancy upgrade charges. Member First requires notice of cancellation and only covers those Travel Arrangements purchased from Member First.
Member First travel certificates are issued in the names of the passengers in the original reservations and are non-refundable, non-transferable, valid within 12 months from date of issue (but no later than 15 months from the date your Member First Travel Arrangements were cancelled) and may not be redeemed for cash.

*For residents of NY or MN: Part A Cancel For Any Reason Waiver can be purchased separately from the rest of the plan. When purchased separately, the Part A Cancel For Any Reason Waiver is non-refundable. Contact Member First at 800-442-9244 in order to purchase the Cancellation Fee Waiver separately.
Part B: Post-Departure Travel Insurance benefits (underwritten by United States Fire Insurance Company) along with other non-insurance services:

We will help you locate local physicians, dentists, or medical facilities, and provide services for much more.
Blue Ribbon Bags (BRB) provides a Delayed Baggage Protection service that is offered as a value-added service to enhance the customer experience when traveling. Blue Ribbon Bags will track and expedite the return of delayed airline baggage from when the destination flight lands.
Portable Personal Health Record Provided By FootprintID® – FootprintID® provides a secure solution for individuals to take control of their medical records and enables immediate access wherever they are in the world.
